I look at all the things my family and I write on the notebook next to the computer and phone (both live in the same place).Today I imagined a large artwork collage made up of notes and messages from that notebook. All stuck together in a random way. Here is a small example.
Pasted this together quickly. I might, or might not add some paint for contrast. I'd have to make one to see.
Do I need to save more bits of paper? In addition to the old maps, pictures of doll clothes patterns (they are weird and creepy, particularly the knitting ones), those pattern thingys used with knitting machines (going to make something with them any day now), my Mother's anatomy and physiology textbook from 1953 (amazing illustrations printed in "olden days" colours), Mum's student notes from midwifery, old B&W photos come across in op-shops and at swap meets - so much inspiration, so little time.
Hang around the entrances of supermarkets...a wealth of dropped shopping lists...always good to see other people's shopping intentions and contradictions...

YES! That would be a great artwork, please do it. Going to look up that REM song.

Okay, I am seriously inspired by that idea of an artwork like that, I will be thinking about this all night.
