I've been buying sandals. For me, Clare, Ally and Linsey. Saltwater Sandals from Little Pinwheel. I've been waiting ages for an Australian stockist, and ages for the necessary amount of money (aka tax refund).
Mine are yellow, Clare's are green, Ally has the red ones and Linsey is yellow as well. Ummm, yes, Clare and Ally are 11 years old and a women's size 8, a shoe size smaller than me. They're nearly as tall as me too! Puberty starts early in my family - early start/early finish though. By the time Clare and Al start high school most of their friends will have caught up in growth and physical development. That's what happened with Linsey and Leah (Giles just kept on growing).
The weather today was perfect for sandals. I must write a complaint to the twin's school - they're not allowed to wear sandals, covered shoes only. So through the hot weather students' feet must be encased in socks and shoes. Open invitation for fungal growth I reckon.
Oh, and Leah didn't want Saltwater Sandals, so she's getting some other item of clothing or footwear. Her aesthetic is different (but she always looks really good).
Humph. Just went and checked out the site, they don't stock my size in purple. Sad face.
